Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante continued his scoring form for FC Nordsjaelland in the Danish top flight as they defeated Aalborg 3-2 at the Right to Dream Park on Sunday.

The Wild Tigers welcomed Aalborg to the Right to Dream Park on Sunday with the hope of continuing from their stupendous performance last week, where they inflicted a 3-2 defeat on Brondby in the first game of the Danish elite league campaign.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 25th minute through midfielder Edison Flores.

Nordsjaelland restored parity in the 36th minute following Mathias Jensen’s close range strike before Ernest Asante added the second for the host in the 54th minute after he was put through by Emiliano Marcondes.

Aalborg equalized on the 70th minute mark courtesy an own goal by right full back Vicktor Tranberg. But, Marcondes, who provided the assist for Asante’s goal grabbed the winner in the 73rd minute.

Last week’s two-goal hero Godsway Donyoh made way for M Rasmussen in the 88th minute when the victory seemed to have been bagged.

Meanwhile, Collins Tanor made a cameo appearance for coach Kasper Hjulmand’s side in the 76th minute.

Nordsjaelland are currently on top of the standings after match day 2 with six points.
