According to the Chairperson of the college’s Lecturers Association, Dr. Kweku Arthur who spoke to Joy News, salaries and allowances of lecturers have not been paid for the past two months.

He added that, pensions are also in arrears for over two years, making life unbearable for school authorities.

“Government must urgently intervene to save the University from the current state of financial crisis”, he added.

“The financial issues must be addressed so it does not affect other parts of the academic process which has been running successfully”, he stressed.

The University he said would suffer greatly if government does not immediately step in to save the situation.
