Ahmed Toure Bechem UnitedAhmed Toure scored a hat-trick for Bechem United

Bechem United striker Ahmed Toure smashed a hat trick to deepen the wounds of ailing side Bolga All Stars at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park, taking his tally to 12 while Stephen Sarfo’s brace against WAFA to end their 6 matches unbeaten run in the second round with Bright Adjei lifting his game to score twice to give Aduana Stars a 2-1 win over Dwarfs at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park.

In a 4:3:2:1 system Elmina Sharks trainer Yaw Acheampong emerged the coach of the week after his splendid 2-1 win over AshGold at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium to end their unbeaten run in the second round.

1. Razak Abalora (GK) – He conceded twice but his absence could have seen WAFA receiving their heaviest thumping this season. He made stupendous saves to deny the home side recording a massive score-line.

2. Isaac Kwain – Dwarfs: Dwarfs lost by 2-0 at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park but Kwain’s performance was superb. He made it hard for the in-form Zakariah Mumuni to thrive on the right flank compelling him to switch to the left.

3. Jacob Larweh – Tema Youth: In a week that all his close competitors, Daniel Darkwah and Moro Ibrahim were all off the field, Larweh had little to prove to be picked for the week. He was smart and accurate with his crosses and provided an assist for one of the three goals scored by Tema Youth.

4. Kingsley Adjei – Elmina Sharks: If Sharks have any player to commend for their win over AshGold in Obusai, Kingsley is the man. He created a barrier at the back for his side to prevent AshGold from fetching the equalizer. He was the perfect definition of a defender.

5. Baba Musah – Tema Youth: Baba Musah was the only defender Inter Allies had to beat to kiss the net. Not that his team mates were not productive, he was simply too good for the visitors to beat.

6. Justice Blay – Medeama SC: The visitors picked maximum points from Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium. Blay scored and provided bullish performance in midfield for his side.

7. Joseph Paintsil – Tema Youth: As usual, he was at his best at the Tema Park. He scored and provided an assist. The classic goal he scored was enough to earn him a place in the best eleven of the week. He emerged the NASCO player of the match.

8. Latif Salifu – Medeama SC: Not only did Latif emerge the player of the match, he scored a brilliant goal and also provided an assist. He was the chief tormentor of the Olympics defence.

9. Ahmed Toure – Bechem United: Toure hit a hat trick and emerged man of the man. Enough to explain his inclusion in the eleven of the week.

10. Bright Adjei – Aduana Stars: Bright proved his worth when he scored twice for his side and topped it up with the NASCO man of the match award.

11. Stephen Sarfo – Berekum Chelsea: He stole the win for the Berekum-based side at the Golden City Park. Despite Razak Abalora’s incredible goalkeeping, Sarfo managed to score twice top hand the home side all three points.
