Following the sour relationship between Ghana FA Boss Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie, Dreams FC Executive Chairman Kurt Okraku and Tema Youth CEO Wilfred Osei Parmer have been tipped as top favourites to be next GFA President.

The rivalry between the two is set to be rekindled with growing reports that Kwesi Nyantakyi is likely to name a new vice soon.

Reports emerged in the early hours of Wednesday about the broken relationship between the GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie.

The two were alleged to have been in a heated argument which nearly escalated into a brawl but for the presence of other executive committee members who restricted them.

With the latest development, Kurt and Parmer could be laughing at their ends with a strong conviction that Georger Afriyie is likely to be out of the race for the seat.

Insiders say Kwesi Nyantakyi who is also the 1st CAF Vice President is overly mad at his deputy and could boot him out and choose a new person with just 18 months to the end of his tenure.

The developing story is hugely casting a slur on the image of the GFA President with almost all his former vice presidents ending their tenure on a sour note with him.

Nyantakyi named George Afriyie as his Vice in 2016 after he was voted unopposed in his 3rd term in office.

Parmer and Kurt and hence gathering their arsenals for the showdown as who succeeds Nyantakyi.
