Adwoa Safo, MP for Dome/Kwabenya
Vice Constituency Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Dome Kwabenya Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Isaac Lamptey on Friday July 7, 2017 referred to one of the few female members of parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo as a pretender and serial liar.
The Constituency Vice Chairman, slammed the honourable Member of Parliament (MP) for saying she facilitated the building of a Community Day Senior High School in the locality.
“Adwoa Safo is nothing but a graduated liar who needs attention and credit for no effort” he disclosed to the mynewsgh.com.
He has thus served notice to the Hon. Member of Parliament (Adwoa Safo) to back off from telling lies or they will expose her.
Meanwhile, the Dome Kwabenya Branch of the NDC together with the former Ga East Municipal Chief Executive, John Kwao Sackey called the press to set the records straight about a one minute twenty-four seconds video of the Hon Member of Parliament of the area, claiming credit for a project the former president and government initiated, built and commissioned before exiting power in January 2017.
In the video, Adwoa Safo was seen making the point forcefully to the effect that the Community Day Senior High School otherwise referred to as E-Block was built through her efforts.
She was heard saying her former employers, the World Bank requested her to acquire a litigation free land for them to put up the school building, which she did even in her opposition days.
The Public Procurement minister asserted that the NDC government skillfully built the over one hundred and twenty tree schools in their strongholds.
The Kwabenya Legislator did not stop here but went further to suggest that her constituency is the only NPP constituency that benefited from that project to justify her claim to a loud applause of her constituents.
But the Kwabenya NDC is calling on the people of Ghana and Dome Kwabenya Constituency in particular to disregard the lies of the Member of Parliament and treat it with utmost contempt it deserves.
According to them, they have decided to respond to the lies of their own member of parliament because she is telling one too many lies and thereby bringing the name of the constituency into disrepute.
