Afriyie Acquah’s reported move to English Premier League side Stoke City is not a done deal, sources have told Headquarters.

Circling reports have claimed the 25-year-old has agreed an initial two-year deal with the Potters and could sign the dotted lines as early as today (Friday).

But close sources to the player have told the English side has not reached a deal with the Ghana international, just yet.

Acquah has been linked with a move away from Torino after a fabolous campaign last term.

The Ghanaian only arrived in Turin from Hoffenheim for £2.3million in 2015.

But he has impressed in Italy in the two seasons, scoring four goals and creating five in 42 games for the Serie A side.

Acquah, who has been likened to former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, is believed to be interested in a move to England.

But Torino are eager to tie him down amid widespread reports regarding his long-term future at the club.

The Black Star enforcer has enjoyed fine runs on loan at Sampdoria and Parma.
