Prampram Paramouncy Disclaims Group – Daily Guide Africa

The Annor We Royal Family of Prampram Paramouncy has issued a disclaimer against two families who reportedly caused a publication in a state owned newspaper challenging registration of Prampram Lands in the Greater Accra Region.

According to the royal family, the Charwenya and Gberbie Families do not own lands in Prampram and asked the public to disregard the challenge.

A news release signed by Numoe Osabu Abbey IV, Stool Father of Prampram Traditional Area said “we the Royal Family of Prampram, known as Annor We wishes to inform the public that there is a publication or notice in the Daily Graphic dated and published Saturday 22nd April, 2017 which states that the Charwenya and the Gberbie Families are challenging registration of Prampram Lands.”

The release said “we wish to inform the public that the Charwenya and the Gberbie Families do not own Prampram Lands,” adding that “we as royal and paramount head of the whole Prampram is informing the public that all the lands Teye Akrong is dealing with is his family land and he does so on behalf of his family with the consent of his principal elders and members.”

According to the Stool Father, “the said Charwenya Family contested Teye Akrong and lost at both High Court and Court of Appeal while Gberbie Family also known as Ayiku We of Prampram also contested the same Teye Akrong and lost.”

The Stool Father further said that “one Randy Lartey is claiming ownership of a land leased to a company called Justiny Company Limited by the Traditional Council .”

The release also said “the Annor We Family and Olowe Family would like to inform the public that whoever buys land from Madam Randy Lartey is doing so at his/her own risk because the Traditional Council leased the land to Justiny Company Limited for 50 years in 1990.”

According to the Stool Father, “the Traditional Council did not sell the land to Justiny Company Limited but rather leased to them and so they have no right to sell to anybody.”
