Choirmaster forms new music group in Australia

Former member of Praye music group, Eugene Baah known in music circles as Choirmaster, has joined a new group called Africa Connection in Australia where he went to perform at the Adelaide Fringe Festival recently.

In an exclusive interview with citifmonline.com, Choirmaster disclosed that he met some great artistes while in Australia and decided to form a group with them.

“I joined a fresh group. We called ourselves Africa Connection – one from Kenya, Sierra Leone, and the other from South Africa. We did two songs which will be released soon,” he said.

Choirmaster added that he met Perfect Promotions, a very big Ghanaian music promoter in Australia who will be marketing his songs there.

When asked how the reception was for him at his shows, he said the patrons were really wowed by his performances.

“The reception was really good. I had a session with the Fringe Choir and I taught them a Ghanaian folk gospel song ‘Da N’ase’,” Mr. Baah noted.

Choirmaster visited 5 states in Australia: Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Sidney and Canberra. He was featured on the Ghana Association’s 60 years celebration programme played in front of the Melbourne Mayor.
