GT Bank Excels At CFI Awards

Capital Finance International (cfi), the UK-based publisher of the reputable cfi.co, a business, economics and finance magazine, has recognised Guaranty Trust Bank Ghana for its efforts in the electronic banking space.

After a rigorous voting exercise involving reputable readers, subscribers and contributors of cfi.co magazine, GT Bank was adjudged the Best in ‘Digital Banking – Ghana 2017.

Guaranty Trust Bank Ghana Limited also emerged the winner as a result of the state-of-the-art and full-service online banking portal, and multiple alternative services channels for which the bank has established a well-earned reputation as an e-banking pioneer,” the report of the panel of judges revealed.

“GTBank Ghana has pushed the envelope, and set the pace in providing excellence in customer service. The bank aims to maintain the closest possible proximity to its clients, and to this end instituted an open door policy that offers clients a multitude of ways to keep in touch with the bank’s agents and account executives.”

The cfi judging panel noted that “GTBank Ghana has carefully crafted its brand image to convey openness, inclusiveness and a can-do spirit that is unique in the Ghana banking industry.”

Capital Finance International (cfi) is a print journal and online resource reporting on businesses, economics and finance, and headquartered in London, UK.

The institution collates the views of leading multilateral and national organizations from the world’s top minds.

Earlier in May 2016, the bank was adjudged the ‘Technology Advanced Bank of the Year’ for the third consecutive time at the Ghana Information Technology and Telecom Awards 2016 in Accra.
