Hearts’ striker Paul Acquah scored the only goal as the Phobians recorded their first victory of the season when they defeated Ashanti Gold 1-0 at the Obuasi Lane Clay Stadium on Saturday
The winger netted in the 72nd minute to register the only goal of the game.
Acquah capitalized on a rebound and smashed in from the 16 yard box after Bright Lukeman’s effort had been saved.
The win pushes Hearts of Oak to third on the League with 17 points after 11 matches.

Bechem United host Inter Allies, Berekum Chelsea host Medeama at the Golden City Park, Great Olympics welcome Aduana Stars to the Accra Stadium.
In other matches, Elmina Sharks will welcome league leaders, WAFA to the Ndoum Stadium, and Bolga All Stars will seek a second straight home win against Liberty Professionals at the Tamale Utrecht Academy Park.
