Mohammed Anas, the man who delivered perhaps the best ever post-match interview in the history of football of thanking his wife and girlfriend after winning man of the match award, is in the news again but this time for different reason.

The Ghanaian striker scored a sensational free-kick for his club Free State stars which has been voted best goal of the week in South Africa.

His goal contributed to the Ea Lla Koto beating Orlando Pirates 3-1 at the James Motlatsi Stadium on Saturday.

Striker Moeketsi Sekola stunned the Buccaneers with an early strike in the fourth minute before captain Paulus Masehe doubled the lead in 13th to leave Pirates just six points away from bottom club and relegation-threatened Boroka FC.

Bucs pulled one back through Thela Ngobeni’s own goal in the 25th minute but Mohammed Anas’s stunning free-kick on the half-hour mark regained the lead for Stars.

Anas slipped an attempted finish past the upright. Then Anas curled one to skim the crossbar as the Buccaneers’ defense was at sea.

Below is the wonder strike
