The Black Stars of Ghana commenced their preparations for the Total U-17 Africa Cup of Nations Gabon 2017 on a 2-2 draw note with Tanzania on Monday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Ghana is in Group A alongside hosts Gabon, Cameroon and Guinea.
Tanzania is in Group B along with Mali, Niger and Angola.
