Water bodies in Ghana are now under threat from harmful practices such as illegal mining locally known as galamsey.
JoyNews’ Justice Baidoo took a trip on the Pra River, one of Ghana’s largest water bodies which supply water to more than five million people.
He found out how illegal mining is killing aquatic life and putting many fishermen out of work.
