Super clash referee Samuel Sukah is adamant he made the right decision in awarding Hearts the decisive penalty against Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The controversial decision by the referee has been the most topical issue in the aftermath of the game with his call deciding the tie in favor of the Phobians.

A couple of video replays have not been able to give a conclusive judgement with all showing contrasting views.
But the man who made the call is still convinced he made the right call.

“What is a dubious penalty, I don’t understand why they call the penalty a dubious one, it was a right decision I took,” he told Peace FM.

“I was standing few meters away from the scene, why would I cheat any of the two sides especially when I know what it entails when it comes to games between the two teams.

“The defender threw his body and the ball struck his arm.”

“I am a Christian and in my religion, forbid cheating therefore I wouldn’t do that, so that decision I took was the right decision.”

His decision has attracted the fury of many Kotoko fans.
