Reigning Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Artiste of The Year winner and BBnZ foremost artiste, E.L’s voice has been heard on a new hip-hop song titled ‘Bakukaiba’ by Haywaya.

‘Bakukaiba’ is a Hausa word literally meaning ‘not enough’. The song was produced by Uche B and mastered by DrumRoll.

It features E.L’s rap in English, while Haywaya rapped in Hausa and interjects with Pidgin English.

Haywaya delivered the chorus and his verse in Hausa and Pidgin, and E.L came in with his hard core English rap.

The song is described as a strong signal of supremacy in relation to who is currently the king or dominating the indigenous rap scene in Ghana.

E.L is currently the first Ghanaian contemporary artiste to join a tour by an American artiste, following recent reports that he is on tour in the United States of America with American singer and rapper, Lauryn Noelle Hill.

The tour which is a concert series that brings aspects of the inaugural Diaspora Calling! Festival To The Road. Each show features performances by artistes from different parts of the African Diaspora.
