Qualifiers for 2018 AWCON to begin early next year

The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that the preliminary qualifiers for the 11th edition of the Total Women’s AWCON is scheduled to come off in Ghana will begin on 26th February 2018.

In accordance with the international harmonised calendar for women’s competitions, the final tournament will take place from 17 November to 1 December 2018.

The decision was concluded at CAF’s 39th Ordinary General Assembly at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa.
