Okyeame Kwame features BeatBender on ‘Best rapper alive’
Okyeame Kwame’s contributions to the arts through supporting young talented acts have been encouraging in diverse forms. The spotlight now falls on Emmanuel Adams, also known as “BeatBender”.
OK expresses his astonishment at BeatBender’s display of skill with beatbox when he was hosted on the Rap Attack show on Hitz FM by Doctor Pounds. He is known to make live beats for rappers on the show.
It will be recalled a couple of weeks ago that OK pledged to support the performer with a feature among others. True to his words, the two hit the studio 2 days later and produced the “Best Rapper Alive” song. The two were later seen a performance at the recent “Club All Stars Live” in Kumasi.
OK has emphasised his willingness to groom him, improve and support his talent.
Speaking to the opportunity, BeatBender who could not keep an unending excitement confessed, “I have never had the opportunity to work with any big time celebrity like Okyeame Kwame before, I feel blessed and highly favored by God”
The art of beatboxing involves the use one’s mouth, lips, tongue, voice, as a percussive instrument to create beats and rhythms for music.
