Managing Director of Kasapreko, Mr. Richard Adjei, has hinted that plans are far-advanced for his outfit to expand its production capacity.
This, he explained, will enable his outfit meet its new target of producing 3.5 million cases of spirit products this year.
According to him, the company will purchase new factory machines by mid-year to increase production in order to meet the high demand from consumers.
“This year our target is to hit 3.5 million cases for the spirits category. New machines will be coming for expansion this year. We want to produce more to meet the high demand from consumers and stakeholders,” he disclosed.
Mr. Adjei said this while speaking at an awards dinner ceremony held in Accra for the company’s distributors and business partners.
He indicated that the Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs) division of the company will also receive major investments to expand as result of high demand, especially for the Awake Water and the other soft drinks.
During the awards dinner, Kasapreko honoured its top 30 performing distributors and business partners for the year 2016 with some mouth-watering prizes and packages.
The distributors who cut across the company’s beverage portfolios – spirits, water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSDs), took home prizes such as sales trucks, mini sales vans, tricycle, some products of Kasapreko and other paraphernalia.
The overall best performing distributor award for the Spirits Category went to Prince Piddah Enterprise while the overall CSD category award went to Augustine Kwarteng Enterprise in Kumasi.
On behalf of his fellow award winners, Mr. Augustine Kwarteng thanked management of Kasapreko for the recognition and pledged that they (the distributors) will support the company to meet its new target for the year 2017.
