Bolga All Stars have a good chance to prove their worth in the premiership when they take on giants Asante Kotoko SC at the Utrecht Academy park on Sunday in Tamale.

The newcomers are still chasing a second win of the season. They were beaten 3-1 by champions Wa All Stars at home in the midweek.

Tamale Utrecht Academy gaffer Baba Nuhu is expected to replace Peter Akolgo Abilba at the dugout to steer affairs for the “Stars of the East” after a new owner has taken over the club for rest of the season.

They have a full strength side to face the Porcupine Warriors. The new ownership could be a good omen for the club should they win on Sunday.

Asante Kotoko SC left it very late to clinch all three points with the last kick of the match against newcomers Elmina Sharks FC last weekend.

They travel to the North to make sure they get an easy one to continue their unbeaten run. They are second on the log on goals difference.

Experienced goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has sidelined with an ankle injury whilst captain Amos Frimpong and Ashittey Ollenu make a comeback into the set up for Sunday’s game.

Stalwart defender Awal Mohammed is also available for selection after his International Transfer Certificate arrived last week. He could make his debut if selected.
