Hopes of watching Premier League football in Bolga in the second round of the Ghana Premier League has been restored as attempts by Nana Ameyaw of Techiman to takeover the club has fallen through following the two parties failure to reach an agreement.
This new development will see the Upper East side still honouring their home matches at the Tamale Utrecht Park as attempts to also move their home matches to Techiman also hits a snag.
Earlier reports had indicated that the Techiman overlord held advanced talks with the leadership of the Bolga-based side with a possible takeover almost completed.
But reports reaching Ghanasoccernet have revealed that the two parties failed to reach agreement for the takeover.
A source close to the management of the club disclosed that Nana Ameyaw wanted a complete takeover and subsequently move the club to Techiman but the current owners of the club contended that the club should still be based in Bolga.
Again, the leadership of the club was not happy with how the media got hold of the takeover of the club since negotiations were still ongoing.
With this development, Bolga All Stars will host Asante Kotoko in Tamale instead of the Nana Ameyaw Park in Techiman as reported earlier.
