A last-gasp goal from Derrick Sassraku ensured Aduana Stars recorded their first away win against Inter Allies in the Ghana Premier League on Saturday at the El Wak Sports stadium.

Aduana produced a sensational second half display to extend their unbeaten run at the start of the season to six, remaining top of the standing with 16 points while Inter Allies dropped to 13th .

Isaac Twum gave Inter Allies the lead in the first half but Nathaniel cancelled out before Sassraku headed home the winning goal on 90 minutes to seal all three points for Dormaa-based club.

In an exciting first half the home side dominated possession and were more dangerous throughout the period. Inter Allies created the first chance after four minutes, but Federick Boateng hit the upright with a superb strike.

Then 12 minutes later striker Isaac Osae managed to create goal scoring opportunity but shot was blocked by Wahab Adams. Osae, again, failed to connect a beautiful pass from strike partner Federick Boateng on 20 minutes before Martin Antwi tested Stephen Adams with a long range effort.

It took Aduana 25 minutes to muster their first attack, which produced no real goal threat.

However, five minutes later on their second attack of the game, Aduana had strong penalty appeals waved away by referee Kennedy Padi after defender Fard Ibrahim handled the ball in the 18-yard box.

Inter Allies, however, continued to look more dangerous and in the 34th minute they thought they went ahead when Federick Boateng slotted home from close range. But Boateng was ruled offside.

Then, with less than a minute to end first half, Allies were awarded a free kick from 22 yards. Isaac Twum expertly curved free kick went past Stephen Adams to back of the net.

It was a different story in the second half as Aduana Stars took complete control of the game. They drove forward in numbers in search of an equaliser. Noah Martey should have made it one all with a glorious opportunity. The former Bechem star, left unmarked in the box, crashed his shot high.

Zakaria Mumuni also had a shot from outside the box deflected for corner as Aduana continued to pile on the pressure and it was not long before Nathaniel Asamoah equalised with delightful diving header.

Aduana did not relent after grabbing the goal as they continued to press Inter Allies. The Eleven is to One were able to prevent Aduana from scoring up to added time when skipper Godfred Saka sent in delightful cross which was connected beautifully by Sassraku.
