Ghanaian total beverage manufacturer, Kasapreko Company Ltd, says it will further expand its production capacity line to meet its new production target of 3.5 million cases of spirit products this year.
The Managing Director of the company, Mr Richard Adjei, said the company would purchase new factory machines by the middle of the year to increase production to meet the high demand from consumers.
“This year, our target is to hit 3.5 million cases for the spirits category. New machines will be coming for expansion this year. We want to produce more to meet the high demand from consumers and stakeholders,” Mr Adjei said at an awards dinner held in Accra at the weekend for the company’s distributors and business partners.
He also indicated that the Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks Division would also receive major investments to expand as a result of high demand, especially for the Awake Water and the other soft drinks.
The company honoured its top 30 performing distributors and business partners for 2016 with prizes and packages.
The distributors, who cut across the company’s production portfolios, took home prizes such as sales trucks, mini sales vans, tricycles, some products of Kasapreko and other paraphernalia.
The Overall Best performing distributor award in the Spirits Category went to Prince Piddah Enterprise, while the Overall Best in the Carbonated Soft Drinks Category went to Augustine Kwarteng Enterprise in Kumasi.
Mr Kwarteng, on behalf of the award winners, thanked the management of Kasapreko for the recognition and pledged that the distributors would continue to support the company to meet its new target for 2017.
