#VGMA2017: CJbiggerman makes cut for Unsung category

His several years coming up as a musician has seen a peak with his first recognition at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this year.

CJbiggerman, a hiphop/hiplife artiste has made his way into the nominees list of the 2017 Unsung Category; facing stiff competition from eShun, Kwame Eugene, AJ Lyricx, Afezi Perry, Deon Boakye and Cina Soul.

CJ shot to fame after he put up a remarkable performance at the 2015 MTN Hitmaker music reality show. His breakout came with a consistent release of several fabulous records that became hits fairly. “Leboobo”, “Donkomi”, 3 Years”, “Last 2”, “Rapmood” among others have traveled far and won him hearts that have become endearing to his craft.

His nomination thereof, crystallises his quest to make a mark in music.

Following the announcement, the overly excited nominee took to social media to share the story: “Blessed moment for me! Super excited about my #VGMA2017 nomination. Thanks for your support, we made it to the #VGMA2017 UNSUNG category”

The Unsung Category, a new innovation into the scheme gives the winning artiste the opportunity to perform at the grand event. The nominees are put out for selection by public voting.
