Staff of HFC Bank as part of its staff volunteerism initiatives, organized a blood donation exercise in celebration of the month of love; February.

The objective of the Blood Donation exercise was to show the Bank’s love to the community by donating blood to the National Blood Bank. The Managing Director of the Bank, Mr. Robert Le Hunte commended the staff for their spirit of volunteerism and the importance they (Staff) placed on the need to protect life by donating blood to those who needed it.

The Bank further delighted customers with Ghanaian chocolate bars at every branch on Valentine’s Day, 14th February; a day which is set aside as chocolate day in Ghana. Every customer of the Bank that transacted business on the day had a share of the chocolate. It was a colorful celebration and moments of love at every branch of HFC Bank Ghana.

Staff volunteerism is a key part of the Bank’s employee engagement strategy.

The Initiative introduced last year has witnessed quite a number of community projects undertaken and wholly sponsored by the Staff. Notable among the projects are: The funding of an ultra-modern pre-school at Manchie Community, Mother’s Day Care to Kayayie across the country, donation to the Accra Psychiatric hospital, renovation of Tamale SDA children’s block, free N.H.I.S registration of residents of Asokwa Old Town and other donations.
