Undoubtedly, cheating has serious impact on relationships. There are always heart-wrenching emotional effects when one partner discovers that the other is cheating.
What hurts most, many have said, is bumping into the act. There have been reports of husbands beating up their wives for cheating on them to the extent of sending them to their early grave.
On the other side, some wives’ inability to deal with the devastating consequence of catching their husbands red-handed, call it quits.
Despite the effects of infidelity, the act still persists.
“Most women cheat because they feel emotionally deprived, and men are unfaithful because they often feel sexually deprived,” Tina B. Tessina, a psychotherapist and author of Money, Sex and Kids: Stop Fighting about the Three Things That Can Ruin Your Marriage has said.
