Ghana Premier league newbies, Elmina Sharks will host inform Aduana Stars at the Nduom Sports complex in their first ever premier league game in the Ghanaian football history.
The Shark’s first game was postponed due to their opponent’s participation of the Confederation African Football (CAF), competition, last weekend.
Coach Kobina Amissah’s side will have to be in the best of shapes to tame favourites in search for a debut win and perhaps baptise their new 15,000 sports edifice in glory on Sunday.
The addition of former Hearts of Lions and Liberty professional stars Edward Ebo Mends, the experienced Kofi Abanga, Richard Atika, Yaw Alexander and Tetteh Nortey, will definitely give Aduana stars something to worry about.
Yussif Abubakar’s Aduana Stars have obviously hit a purple patch in the last couple of months and will seek to continue their winning streak, notwithstanding playing away from home.
The 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League runners up got hard fought victory at home against Ashanti Gold last Sunday.
