An Indian, Vinayak Venugiopal has said on Adom TV’s Afisem on Badwwam that there are similarities and differences in both cultures of the people of Ghana and Indian, with Ghana having more privileges especially on gender issues and culture than India.

According to Vinayak, most Indians are not as fortunate as Ghanaians especially the women because Indian women are not allowed to work because of their culture. He however said with the advent of education and civilization, some level of change is happening in that regard.

Vinayak who was in the studio on the invitation of Maame Yeboah Asiedu spoke in Twi and helped the host to discuss the differences in culture of the Indians and Ghanaians.

Maame Yeboah Asiedu had returned from a trip to Chandigah, India where she witnessed an Indian wedding ceremony.
