The owner of Quilox Nightclub, Shina Peller, has explained why he has added a restaurant service to the list of his companies. The new venture, 6ix Restaurant, shares the same location with the popular Quilox, which is situated at Victoria Island, Lagos.
The grand opening last Sunday attracted the likes of 2Face and his wife, comedian Bovi, Olisa Adibua, Adunni Ade and a host of others.
Speaking at the unveiling, Shina Peller said providing a hangout spot for people during the day brought about 6ix. “I am happy that we are finally unveiling 6ix Restaurant.
This is a dream come true for me. I built Quilox from scratch. But after a while, I thought there was need to utilise the building during the day and create a nice hangout spot. That was how the idea of a restaurant came about,” he said. According to him, the restaurant is named 6ix because it is the sixth company in the Aquila Group.
“We have Aquila Oil and Gas, Aquila Building and Projects, Aquila Global Resources Limited, Quillox, Aquilla Records and then 6ix. Our plan for 6ix is to make it a pan African brand. We intend to conquer Nigeria with branches in major cities. From there, we plan to spread to other African countries,” he added.
