There is always a bitter side of life and more often than not, victims keep such stories to themselves considering the bad memories and subsequent wish of getting the experience erased from their history.
Winner of MTN Hitmaker 3, Togbe, has for years been able to keep his past from the public, but it appears it will not be a secret any more as renowned Sound Engineer, Da’ Hammer has let the cat out of the bag.
According to Da’ Hammer, Togbe who beat four others to win the third season of the MTN Hitmaker competition was indicted over a cocaine related issue.
“He came to the MTN Hitmaker from jail… He was accused of something he didn’t do and spent almost a year in jail… It was a cocaine issue…,” he revealed in a video.
The Last Two Music Group boss expressed shock the youngster from the Volta Region won the competition considering what he had been through but remarked it is an indication that the artiste is strong and determined to make a statement in the music industry.
After the Hitmaker experience, Togbe has released a number of singles including ‘Killer Boobo’, ‘Number 9’, ‘Tasi’ and is expected to launch his album on 4th February, 2017 at NK City, Spintex Road.
