Nytakyi GFA boss Kwesi Nyatakyi

The president of the Ghana football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has hit back at a school of thought which believes the Black Stars do not dominate games to win.

The Ghana football Capo says Football, unlike boxing is not played to accumulate more points by playing well or dominating to get needed result.

The president speaking after Ghana’s win over Dr Congo on Sunday in quarter-final game of the AFCON 2017 stated the sport doesn’t necessary require romantic play to grind result.

“The most important thing in a game is to win. It doesn’t matter how you win. Football is not boxing where you earn points by landing punches” Said Nyantakyi.

Ghana sealed their 6th AFCON semi finals qualification in a row after they beat the Congolese 2-1 in an end to end encounter.
