A paddle boarder in Australia captured video of her dog taking a swim with a pod of friendly dolphins off the country’s southern coast.
Erin Cummings posted a video to YouTube showing her 2-year-old dog, Kuta, swimming near her paddle board off the coast of Esperance, Western Australia, earlier this month.
A pod of dolphins soon appeared and took a swim with the woman and her dog.
Cummings said Kuta is fascinated by the dolphins.
“She doesn’t get to see the whole thing, she just wants to know what these little fins are,” Cummings told the Australian Broadcasting Corp. “They’ve brushed her, they’ve touched her, they’ve given her a little nudge.”
Cummings said Kuta has encountered the dolphins a couple more times since she recorded the video, and has even made “best friends” with a seal.
