Black Stars finally depart for Oyem

The Black Stars have set off for Oyem the venue for the quarter final clash against DR Congo.

Ghana finished second in group D after losing 1-0 to Egypt in the final game on Wednesday at the Port Gentil Stadium.

The team was initially billed to leave for the match venue yesterday but the trip was cancelled due to delayed flight. The Black Stars will have to push above their weight against the Leopard’s who are yet to lose a game and are ranked top of the scoring chat with six goals.

Top scorer of the 2017 AFCON, Junior Kambanaga is expected to lead the attack on Sunday and cause havoc for coach Avram Grant and his team. Kick off time for the quarter final match is scheduled at 4pm / 1600GMT
