Award winning Gospel musician and producer, Nacee has expressed his view on Vodafone Ghana Music Awards categories.
He noted that, should organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards consider giving a slot to Political Song of year every four years, it will inspire some musicians to support political activities with their talent.
“I’ll be glad if organisers of VGMA add political song of the year category to the other categories… I’m not saying I’m wiser than the management of VGMA, but it just a suggestion that I’m making,” Nacee to Kojo Preko Dankwa on Kasapa Entertainment on Kasapa 102.5FM.
There has been controversy over the ownership of the popular NDC campaign song ‘Onaapo’ even though Dee Aja gave credit to Nacee, the producer has granted several interviews claiming ownership of the song.
To affirm this, Nacee dropped the Gospel version and gave it a controversial title called “Onaapo Attention.”
