Fidelity Bank picks two international awards

In the same year that it picked the most coveted award in the Ghana banking industry, Fidelity Bank has received two international awards for its outstanding service and unique offerings.

The Bank has been adjudged the Best Bank in Ghana at the recently held EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Finance African Banking Awards in London.  This is the 3rd consecutive time the Bank has won this award.

At the Banker Awards, also held in London, Fidelity Bank again won the Best Bank in Ghana.

The Managing Director of Fidelity Bank, Mr. Jim Baiden who received the award in London,  noted that having been recognized both locally and internationally is a demonstration that the Bank is staying true to its resolve of offering top-notch service to its customers as well as providing unique products and services tailored to meet the needs of all customers.

“Our team of highly trained professionals is always working assiduously to see to it that the needs of our customers are proactively identified and met,” he said.

Mr Baiden stated that the Bank will continue to delight its customers by continuously training its staff and improving its processes to ensure that it is at par with the best in the world.

He dedicated the awards to Fidelity Bank’s hard working staff explaining their dedication and excellence earned the Bank these awards. He also dedicated the awards to the customers for believing in the bank.

We will continue to pursue innovative solutions to create sustainable value for all our stakeholders. I am honoured to be part of an institution that is committed to improving the lives of Ghanaians. EMEA Finance is a leading bimonthly global industry publication that reports on the major financial events and happenings initiated and influenced by the international financial industry active in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The award celebrates Africa’s most innovative bank taking into consideration its market strength, profitability, growth and earnings, potential and quality of management of the financial institutions.

The Banker Awards is also held annually to recognise the top financial institutions in the world.

Fidelity Bank was issued its universal banking license on June 28, 2006, making Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited, the 22nd bank to be licensed by the Bank of Ghana under the new Banking Act, 2004 (Act 673). Since then, the bank has grown to become the largest privately owned bank and the 4th largest in terms of assets.

Fidelity Bank is the reigning Bank of the year and the Most Socially Responsible Bank in Ghana.
