Inesfly Africa commissions showroom; vows to win Malaria war

Inesfly Africa, a Ghanaian based insecticide manufacturing company has officially commissioned its showroom as it prepares to win the war against malaria in Ghana in 2017.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Inesfly Africa, Mr. Michael Sjodin is upbeat the company will soon mitigate the impact of malaria in Ghana if not eliminate it completely.

He was speaking to journalists at the commissioning ceremony, Wednesday, held at the plush Inesfly office complex located close to the Obetsebi Lamptey Circle in Accra.

The Ghana Health Service has since 1950 been trying to fight malaria which it says is one of the three leading causes of death in Ghana.

But the Inesfly Africa head believes his company will be key in winning the fight against malaria.

“We have a fantastic product range that will help to eradicate malaria in Ghana,” Michael Sjodin said.

Already, the company has won multiple awards, including the most innovative brand, 2016, for its solid innovative ability to kill insect, pests for two years with its wide range of products.

“We have a slow release mechanism” in our insecticides he pointed out which makes it possible for insecticides to kept away for two years after the Inesfly paint is applied.

The company has a broad range of products, including interior and exterior paints, highly effective on insect pests, such as mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, spiders, ants, mites and scorpions.

There is also the 2 in 1 floor cleaner, EM House IGR, body repellent, bed bug solution and Inespalm used in controlling palm tree pest insects.

The Director of Sales David Afugani took journalists, Inesfly Africa has been dominant in the fight against insects in the agricultural industry, hospitality and Public health sector.

Afugani said the various warehouses, silos and preprocessing areas in the country can be treated with Inesfly paints and coatings in order to boost agriculture sector.

He added the products are 100 percent safe, non-irritant to the body, have received world acclamation and certified by the World Health Organisation.

The Quality Control Manager of the company also confirmed that Inesfly has a product, the SP phyto that kills bacteria on vegetables and helps in preserving them.
