Kumasi Asante Kotoko have revealed that they are impressed with the performance put up by their caretaker coach; Micheal Osei in last season’s Premier League and for that matter, management will soon induct him as the substantive coach of the club.
The sensational coach took over from contentious coach David Duncan who was “red carded” by the club in the middle of last season.
Micheal Osei guided the porcupine warriors to place 5th in the last season’s League and this has appealed the management to give him the nod to continue as the head trainer of the club.
“The management of Kotoko is grateful to coach Micheal Osei for his wonderful job done in the last season’s league and it is our decision to appoint him as the substantive coach of the club should we continue as the management of Kotoko,” member of the communication team Chairman Solo disclosed to Ghanasportsonline.com.
Kotoko have begun their pre- season exercise ahead of the G6 Mini- tournament.
