One of the players that stood out in the just ended Ghana Premier League (GPL) is Techiman City midfielder ”John” Baba Mahama. It was therefore expected that some of the country’s “wealthy and ambitious” clubs will be after his signature.
The midfield dynamo has exclusively told sportworldghana.com that he has received offers from both Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak.
Whiles his team continue to battle their relegation status with petitions to the judicial committees of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Baba Mahama has left the responsibility of his next destination to his agent.
The midfielder stated that he is aware of the offer of the two historic clubs but has left everything to his agent whom he believes will negotiate the best deal possible.
“I have received offers from both Hearts and Kotoko and my agent is working on it. I can’t say that I prefer this team to that but I have confidence in my agent to pull the best deal”. Mahama said whiles speaking on phone to our reporter.
