Qatar giants Al Gharafa have officially unveiled Ghanaian defender Rashid Sumaila on Wednesday morning as he begins his loan deal with the club.
The Tigers reached a year loan deal with Kuwait champions Al Qadsia for the Ghanaian with an option to sign him following his impressive run with the side last season.
Sumaila, 23, won the Kuwait Viva League title with Al Qadsia as well as emerging the best foreign-based player in the Kuwait League.
He also won the best defender and best player of Al Qadsia last season before joining Al Gharafa.
Sumaila who is noted of winning a trophy with any club he joins since moving from Ghana Premier League side Ebusua Dwarfs is expected to guide Al Gharafa to the Qatar League title.
Sumaila will however wait until next week to make his official league debut for the Tigers due to issues with his International Transfer Certificate.
