The Mohinani Group Limited, manufacturers of tyres and plastic products, organized clean-up exercise in some parts of Accra last Saturday.

It was carried out in partnership with the Environmental Services Providers Association (ESPA) to support the National Sanitation Day (NSD) campaign.

Addressing journalists during the clean-up exercise along the Prof. Atta Mills High Street, Marketing Manager of Somotex Ghana Limited, a subsidiary of the Mohinani Group, said the clean-up was aimed at managing waste in the country.

The campaign, which will take the form of a competition, will educate pupils and their communities on waste management, he said.
