Asante Kotoko technical director Malik Jabir says he has been misquoted over claims that players in the domestic leagues lack endurance because of excessive sex.
The Ghana U23 coach spoke to Kumasi-based Ultimate FM last week where he lamented that the stamina levels of the current generation of footballers were suspect.
The publication went viral but the ex-international has moved set the record straight.
”I have never said anywhere that Ghanaian players like too much sex which affect their performance,” Jabir told Ash FM
”If they have the audio let them play it for us to hear and judge. I can never say that on air or anywhere, but what I said was about my personal life experience not about Ghanaian footballers.”
