Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan is delighted with the warm reception by the people of Tamale ahead of Friday’s game.
The team were giving a rousing welcome by fans upon their arrival on Wednesday.
Inhabitants of Tamale are expected to troop to the Stadium to support the Black Stars team on Friday.
Gyan is happy with the support from the home fans.
“I must say a big thank you to the people of Tamale, they showed us love, they gave us a warm reception when we arrived, I hope they turn out in their numbers on Friday to support us,” he said.
The team will hold their final training session today.
Tomorrow’s game will be the first of six qualifying matches for the Black Stars.
