Shatta Wale at the NDC event
Dance hall artiste, Shatta Wale, was in the news this week for allegedly being paid Ghc 80,000 by Roads and Highways Minister, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, to perform at his campaign launch in Tamale on Sunday.
Some Tamale residents were extremely angry at the Minister after they heard the ‘Mahama Paper’ hit maker was paid that much when, according to them, they are suffering and that amount could have been used to improve their lives.
Shatta Wale took to his Twitter page to respond to the allegations:
IF I COLLECT ,YOU GO SEE SAY I COLLECT..ALL CORRECT SIR..!!!
