Don’t trade your votes for goodies – Bridget Dzogbenuku

The Vice Presidential nominee of the Progressive Peoples Party, Brigitte Dzogbenuku has urged the people of the Upper East Region not to be moved by goodies from either the New Patriotic Party and the National Democratic Congress but vote for the PPP for economic transformation and creation of jobs for Ghanaians.

She said electorates should vote not based on political inducement but vote for the PPP for positive change.

Mrs. Brigitte Dzogbenuku on a one day tour to the Upper East Region admonished electorates in the region to resist by induced by goodies from either the NPP and NDC  in the upcoming election, as that vote buying tactics will continue to keep them impoverish.

Addressing electorates in Bongo Mrs. Dzokpenuku  said both the NDC and NPP have not done enough to  improve the lives of Ghanaians with huge resources at their disposal, adding that, a vote for the PPP will salvage Ghanaians from their predicament.

“NDC and NPP know now that electorates have become aware and awake for development in Upper East Region but your mind cannot be changed with money, your mind should not be changed with GH2.00, GHC5.00 or GHC10.00. Because you take that money and spend it and your life will remain the same, your roads remain the same, you will have no jobs to do in the future. You will take that money and your health will be poor and it will still be difficult for you to go to school. So when the NPP and NDC come telling you that don’t waste your votes on the PPP, tell them you are voting for change because you don’t want to vote for them and your roads, health and livelihood will remain the same, so you will vote massively for the PPP” Ms. Dzokpenuku stated.

Mrs. Dzokpenuku appealed to Ghanaians to vote massively for Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum and the PPP considering their track record of creating jobs for Ghanaians and have the remedy to redeem Ghana’s ailing economy.
