NDC in Ho walks in honor of Mahama

Some residents of Ho, the Volta Regional capital, were on the streets of  the town on Friday, to commend President John Mahama and the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the ‘exceptional’ developmental projects executed in the region.

The crowd mostly sympathizers of the ruling NDC, embarked on a walk through the principal streets of the regional capital holding placards expressing their gratitude to the government.

The walk dubbed “Volta Appreciates JM” took them through the market lane, Dome to Civic Centre where they converged on the Nfojo Park.

In an interview with Citi News, an organizer of the event, Ransford Delali Kasu, said the region has seen an unprecedented facelift in the current administration, adding that it was necessary to show gratitude to President John Dramani

“What we are doing today is a way of saying thank you to President for the numerous developmental projects carried out in the region. Volta Region has had its share of the national cake. For instance, the establishment of the University of Allied Sciences, the Community SHS, our roads and many more.”

He also assured the President of the region’s support in the upcoming elections.

“Even as we say thank you to the President, we want to assure President Mahama that come December 7 we would give him more of the votes from the Volta region.”
