Staff of Media Foundation visit Citi FM [Photos]

Founder of the Media Foundation for West Africa (MFWA), Professor Kwame Karikari on Tuesday led a team from the foundation to pay a visit to influential radio brand, Citi FM in Accra.

The visit offered the team known as Eminent Media personnel group, the opportunity to interact with managers of Citi FM on a wide range of issues in relation to the media landscape.

According to Prof. Karikari, the eminent media personnel group was established to interact with radio stations in the country to have firsthand information on challenges confronting the industry and the way forward.

“So we came to Citi FM to have discussions with management of the station. To discuss with them what challenges they have concerning the business of the industry, questions of professionalism, ethics and questions regarding their internal policies of ensuring that they are seen as a radio station serving the public as well as they ought to.”

For his part, the Managing Director of Citi FM, Samuel Atta Mensah explained to the foundation that the station is is committed to defying the odds in the industry to stay relevant always.
