Man Arrested After Trying To Rob The Same Pharmacy Twice In 2 days

Police in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, USA, arrested a man who they say robbed a pharmacy and tried to commit the same crime the next day.

The man was said to have walked into the pharmacy just before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday and demanded prescription medications.

Police said the man showed a handgun, believed to be a BB gun or airsoft gun, during the incident.

Daniel J. Greco, Jr., 27, of Denver was arrested after he allegedly entered the pharmacy again Wednesday afternoon and demanded Xanax.

The owner confronted Greco, who then fled and was found in an alley behind the business, according to police.

Greco admitted in an interview that he stole pills from Anderson Pharmacy on Tuesday, police said.

Some of the stolen pills have been recovered but The gun was not.

Greco has now been charged with robbery, criminal attempt to commit robbery and theft by unlawful taking.
