Dutch Hotel Nshonaa Founders Happy

African Royal Hotel, Nungua

An 11-year litigation over the ownership of Dutch Hotel Nshonaa, now African Royal Beach Hotel, a 3-star hotel located at Nungua, has finally been settled.

New owner of the hotel, Yaw Addo, recently met Dutchman Nico van Stalduinnen and wife, Kai Sodatonou, original owners of the hotel, who were cheated by other Dutch investors and settled them amicably, laying to rest the protracted case.

“We are now happy and our baby, African Royal Hotel, remains the sweetest place of hospitality on our minds. We are proud of it. As the best place to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere of the beaches of Accra, it has a sweet bouquet of ultramodern services and entertainment. We call on corporate entities and their foreign counterparts to come and sample the hotel’s rich tastes,” Mr. Stalduinnen told BUSINESS GUIDE in an interview recently.

Located at Nungua Beach Road between the business centers of Accra and Ghana’s premier harbour city Tema, ARBH comprises 66 unique rooms and suites.

It also has a glorious swimming pool that would delight guests.

The hotel boasts of a rooftop terrace, free Wi-Fi and a private beach. It also offers a ballroom, valet parking and a free shuttle service.

Those staying at African Royal Beach Hotel Accra, which has a kids’ pool and a playground, can enjoy 24-hour room services.

It offers family-friendly facilities, with room layouts and services for families of all sizes, plus babysitting/child services and supervised child care/activities.

The traditional rooms at African Royal Beach Hotel include an in-room closet, wireless internet access and a private bathroom.
