Bisa Kdei was the toast of Citi FM‘s Music of Ghanaian Origin (MOGO) Awards and Dinner dance on Saturday as he picked up 4 individual awards including one for Artiste of the Year
Bisa’s hit track ‘Mansa’ was also named Song of the Year, fending off tough competition from other brilliant compositions including Gasmilla’s Telemo and EL’s Minabopo.
The artiste who has had a meteoric rise in fame in recent years also won awards for Best Songwriter and Best Male Act for the Year under review.
Other winners on the night were Sarkodie, who picked up the Album of the Year for his work on ‘Mary,’ Efya who was named best female act and Abrantie Amakye Dede who picked up an award for being the best performer.
Highlife legends Bob Pinodo and Ebo Taylor were also celebrated for their contribution to the genre with Lifetime Achievement Awards.
