Ghana winger Jeffrey Schlupp is delighted for compatriot Daniel Amartey who made his debut for the Leicester in their hard fought 1-0 victory over Norwich.
The 21-year-old finally made his match awaited debut on Saturday since signing for Leicester from Copenhagen last January.
The former Inter Allies man was impressive though you could see signs of nerves in his first touches of the ball.
Having played a key role in the victory Schlupp says he is happy Amartey handled his debut in a calmer way.
“Daniel Amartey had a good game. If you have defender like him at the back they give strikers the assurance to go and push forward.”
Schlupp who himself was out for two months made a return in the game and has not complain of any relapse which will be a boost for both his club and country.
