Accra Hearts of Oak new sensation, Samudeen Ibrahim will be available for their week two league game against Medeama SC in Tarkwah this weekend, club Communication Director Kwame Opare Addo has said.

The player picked a knock after distinguishing himself in the Hearts-Edubiase league opener in Accra, which raised eyebrows about his availability for their next game.

It emerged after the Accra win that the former King Solomon star would be benched for a while due to the knock.

But Opare Addo has calmed nerves revealing in a telephone interview that the midfielder, nicknamed ‘ Modric’ has hit the road to recovery and has started special training.

“It is most likely he will be available for the Medeama game. He will start a special training today(Wednesday); it is meant for his right leg. He will continue tomorrow till he regains full fitness.”

“The scan detected no tear or damage, it was only the pain which was slight, we hoping to see him return soon,” he added.

Samudeen, last season’s Division One League best performer lit up the Accra Stadium, endearing himself to fans, including the Japanese folks that watched the league opener on Sunday.
